The main idea of this split cd is to put the bands latest vinyl only songs in a digital way to get heard by everyone who wants it. Of course, vinyl is cool, but we don´t wanna exclude anyone. Good music for everyone, hehe. This is a record of friendship, four bands and a label that like each other, united to fight the forces of evil and rule the world.
Inspired by great fastcore & thrashcore bands LxExAxRxNx was formed in the beginning of 2k5 by five wasted palermo hardcore kids. The influences varies a lot, almost everyone of them grew in different bands and genres (skate punk, crust, old school sxe hc) but the result of this musical pout-pourri is just an exceptionally tight and fast hardcore gaining in these 10 songs (6 songs from their split 7” with Common Enemy, 4 unreleased). Not for people with delicate ears.
COMMON ENEMY joined this split with 8 new songs. Four of them are unreleased. Three songs are from the upcoming split 7” with “Aggressive Force” and one song is from "Philly Thrash Brigade" CD compilation. The new singer “Gary Critical” fits perfect in the COMMON ENEMY sound. Well done bro! The band will conquer europe third time in september 2008 – the party harder euro invasion. Be prepared. All this shit is still raw and blasting well funny skate- and trashcore - beer, boards and fun. Ten years of WOOF. “Blood, Sweat and Cheers” was the anniversary vinyl 7” released to celebrate this. Here you can get the 5 tracks of the 7” plus an unreleased bonustrack “Never Sellout”, all songs first time on cd. „The same line-up, same music, best bandname in the history of HC and still „Punk as Fuck“!!!“ – Woof Woof Motherfucker! “Down to Earth“ Hardcore done by the kids for the kids. In fact the dudes aren´t getting tired or even old and lame. Damn, NO, the lyrics are catchier and the sound is a bigger blast than ever before. SIDETRACKED digitalised their one-sided vinyl LP “The Decay” (2007) for this CD and include two “Not Enough” cover songs as a bonus. Sidetracked are around for some years now. After they recorded a cd in june 2002, did some tracks on comps and split 7" and tapes, most reviewers compared them with some great bands like Ganggreen, DS13 or Jerrys Kids. Definitions of music usually suck, so let's say they play some punk-hardcore-thrash and get your own impression. Sidetracked remains as a conspiracy of four young men, try to express their view to this world, with all their love, hate, joy and frustrations. They are a very energetic, fast and lusty band that is still not fed up. There is still too much to see and too much to do. Some last words (taken from the band info): We're a punkband, we don't care for big-business-shit, we're not around to make some money with the things we do. It's totally disgusting to see how stupid and bumptious some so-called punk- or hardcorebands behave just to move mainstream against long odds. Fuck you, we're not with you.
